• State issued driver’s license, state issued identification card, US Passport, or US Passport card. Inquire with us if you have other government issued ​ID to see if it qualifies as acceptable identification.

• ORI Number or OCA Number - This is provided by the employer. 

The entire process can be completed within 10-15 minutes.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) run the background check and results are typically returned within 3-5 business days 

• You are provided a TCN number that you can check on our website. AHCA customers can check the results on our website as well. 
• We will proactively search for your results starting business day 3 and contact you once your results are posted.

The cost is based on the ORI number. Please contact us to obtain pricing for your set of fingerprints. 

Yes, the process requires a photo at the time of the fingerprinting as part of the identity verification process.

• Social Services: Under the Adam Walsh Act and National Child Protection act, any person that works with children whether volunteer or employee, must undergo state and federal fingerprints. 
• Medicare Medicaid Vendors: Individuals potential vendors who want to apply for Medicare, Medicaid, or other government healthcare funding programs, will require state and federal fingerprints to qualify to potentially have all or part of their institutional cost paid for by these services. The costs      covered by the services may include nursing facilities, hospitals, mental health institutions, and any other institution who accept federal healthcare funding. 
• Access and Review (Individual access to criminal history for the purpose of review and possible correction): Individuals can get their fingerprints done for the express purpose viewing their criminal history. Access and Review fingerprints on require state access, FBI or federal access is not required.  
• Chiropractors: Any chiropractor who wants to get his or her license must undergo state and federal fingerprinting.
• Child Care License: Anyone who wants to get certified for childcare must      undergo federal and state fingerprinting.
• Unlicensed Day Care: Individuals operating, working, or volunteering in day      care require state and federal fingerprints.
• Private Adoption Applicants: Any person looking to adopt children must undergo both state and federal fingerprint background checks.
• Early Intervention Specialist: Individuals who work to address developmental delays in children will require state fingerprinting.
• Conceal and Carry Firearm Instructions: All firearm instructors are required to undergo state and federal fingerprinting.
• Firearm Conceal and Carry: Individuals wanting to get a conceal and carry license will need both federal and state background checks that require fingerprinting.
• Firearms: When purchasing any legal firearms applicants must get a state and federal background check that requires fingerprinting. 
• Healthcare Nursing Home Resident: All nursing home residents are required to get state fingerprinted.
• Healthcare Nursing Home Workers: Under the Healthcare Worker Background Check Act, all nursing home employees are required to get state fingerprints.
• State Gaming Riverboats/Gambling License: Any who wants to operate a casino or gaming operation will need state and federal fingerprints to receive their gaming license. 
• Gaming/Casino Workers: All casino employees are required to under state and federal fingerprinting. 
• State Racing Licensing: To acquire state racing licensing individuals must      undergo federal and state fingerprinting.
• Local Government Employees: Must undergo federal and state fingerprinting. This also include police officers, firefighters, and other emergency employees. Even individuals who need licensing for city/village licensing or contracting for the city require fingerprinting.
• Public School Matriculants: All individuals who are enrolled as medical students in a public college or university are required by law to undergo state and federal law background checks
• Private School Matriculants: All private medical students must undergo state fingerprinting.
• Cannabis Cultivation Agent: Individuals who are looking to grow marijuana must undergo state and federal fingerprinting. 
• Cannabis Dispensing Agent: Individuals that have intentions of dispensing      marijuana for sale must undergo federal and state fingerprinting.
• Medical Marijuana Caregiver:  Patients that have a designed caregiving to assist with a patient’s use of medical cannabis will need to fingerprinted state and federally.
• Bank Charter (Management Staff): Anyone looking to start a bank must have their bank chartered which requires state and fingerprinting      background checks.
• Bank Employees: All bank employees must be fingerprinted for both the      state and federal. 
• Pawn Brokers: All prawn brokers and employees will require a state and federal fingerprint background check. 
• Amusement Park and Carnival: Under the Carnival and Amusement Rides Safety Act, anyone looking to open an amusement park must undergo state fingerprinting for themselves and employees.
• Explosive Licenses: Individuals who wish to review, store, use, or sell will need a federal explosives license or permit and will need state and federal fingerprinting. This includes fireworks and other explosives.
• Liquor License Applicant: All individuals who want to sell liquor in bars,      restaurants, and other establishments must acquire a liquor license. Obtaining a liquor license requires a state and federal fingerprint background check.
• Massage Therapist: Massage Therapist must undergo state and federal      background check fingerprinting for employment and licensing.
• Mental Health Applicant: Mental health applicants must undergo state and federal background fingerprinting.
• Military and National Guard: Applicants wishing to apply for the military and      national guard will require only state fingerprinting.
• Public Adjuster License: Individuals that wish to become public adjusters will      require state and federal fingerprinting.
• Public Housing Applicant: Anyone looking to become eligible for public housing requires a state and federal fingerprint background check.
• Pyrotechnic Distributor Act: Under the Pyrotechnic Distributor Act states      individuals who wish to display, or sale fireworks must undergo federal and state fingerprinting.
• Licensed Practical Nurse: All licensed practical nurses or LPN must undergo state and federal fingerprinting.
• Registered Professional Nurse: All registered professional nurses or RPN will require federal and state fingerprints.
• Park district employees: All park district employees will require state and      federal fingerprinting.
• Physicians: All physicians that wish to acquire their physician’s license or by endorsement require federal and state fingerprinting.
• Locksmiths: Locksmiths will require both federal and state fingerprinting.
• Private Alarm Contractors: Private alarm contractors require both federal and state fingerprinting.
• Private Detective: Private Detectives require federal and state fingerprinting.
• Private Security Contractor: Private security contractors will require state and federal fingerprinting.
• Security Guards: All security guards require state and federal fingerprint background checks.
• State Certified General Real Estate Appraisers: Requires both state and federal fingerprint background checks.
• State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser: Residential real estate appraisers that want to be state certified require both state and federal fingerprint background checks.
• Associate Real Estate Trainee Appraiser: Require both federal and state fingerprinting.
• Employees of any State Agency: All state employees must undergo state and federal fingerprint background checks.
• Public School employees: All public-school employees will require state and      federal fingerprinting. This includes but is limited to bus drivers, board of education employees, certified school employees, general education, and      non-certified school employees.
• Charter Bus Driver: All charter bus drivers must undergo federal and state fingerprinting.
• Commercial Transportation Vehicle Relocator: Requires state and federal fingerprinting.
• Drivers Training Instructor: Driving training instructors must undergo state and federal fingerprinting.
• Recovery Permit Licensee: Requires a federal and state fingerprint background check.
• Secretary of State Employees: All secretary of state employees requires a state and federal fingerprint background check.
• Tow Truck company: If an individual intends to operate a tow truck company, federal and state fingerprint is required.
• Tow Truck Driver: All tow truck drivers require state and federal fingerprint background checks.
• Vehicle Dealer Licenses: Anyone who wants to acquire a vehicle dealer license    must require a state and federal background check.
• Wholesale Drug Distributor: Under the Wholesale Drug Distributor Act all organizations who wish to distribute whole drugs to healthcare organizations, must understate federal and state fingerprinting.
